What is Coping with Life Alone?

Coping with Life Alone is designed as a pre-weekend support program. It is intended for those whose loss is new and for those not yet ready for the Beginning Experience Weekend.

Sessions focus on topics such as the grief process, changes in family and other relationships, trust, and coping with memories of the deceased spouse or dealing with the former spouse.

Weekly Sessions Programme

One Day Programme

This is a new One Day Programme  which follows the same themes as the weekly programme brought together into a one day session. By running it for a whole day this programme becomes more accessible to participants who may not be able to commit to  weekly sessions.

When this programme becomes available further information will follow.

The Residential Beginning Experience® Programme

What is the Residential Weekend?

The Residential Weekend is structured so that participants can focus on their experiences, their feelings and emotions and work through these to emerge from darkness into the light of a new beginning.

Similar to the pre-weekend coping programme, the residential weekend is presented by team who have all suffered the loss of a loved one themselves. They are willing to share their experience to help others as they were helped.

These team members lead participants through a series of presentations, followed by self-reflection and small group sharing.

The Spring and Autumn Weekends
